Dear Vendor,
The Hangtown
Motocross Classic has a rich tradition of being Northern
California’s premier motocross event for 39 years. Hangtown, and
the sport of motocross, have gone mainstream in the last few years,
attracting over 26,000 spectators (in 2007), and is broadcast for
television. These four days of racing offer a unique and lucrative
business opportunity for a vendor.
Hangtown
offers three vending areas: West, North, and East. With new viewing
areas and track changes for ’08, each vending area will be located
adjacent to high density spectator areas. All three areas will also
have series-wide “anchor” vendors that will draw large crowds to
each area. In other words, each vending area will be considered
“main” vending areas.
Attached to
our vendor contract is a list of vending rules. Please read this
thoroughly. Because of series-wide contracts we have with certain
vendors, there are restrictions and limitations as to the products
that you can sell. On the vendor contract, there is a line that asks
for full disclosure of the type and brand of products you wish to
sell at Hangtown. Please take extra time to fill this out
completely. Attach a separate sheet if necessary. This will avoid
any last-minute confusion or embarrassment at the race. Additional
results of Hangtown’s growth are this year’s deadline for vendor
contracts and space restrictions. Contracts are due April 18.
Also, due to
the overwhelming congestion in the vendor expo area in the past,
booth spaces will be exact size (10’x10’ or 10’x20’…etc)
and there is no guarantee of a parking spot in the expo area.
I look forward
to seeing you at Hangtown 2008. Feel free to e-mail me with any
questions: bobmssr@yahoo.com.

Best Regards,
Bob Messer,
